Einen Fileupload ohne Java-Look-and-Feel zu haben ist entweder man implementiert sich sein eigenes L&F oder man packt das Applet ganz klein zusammen (width=1 height=1) oder schiebt es am besten gleich aus dem sichtbaren Bereich. Dann Schreibt man ein paar JavaScript-Wrapper die auf die Applet-Methoden zu greifen.
Dann kann man ein HTML-Formular so designen wie man es will.
Das Applet wird dann über die Wrapper und den damit gekoppelten Formularfunktionen befüllt/gelöscht/abgeschickt.

Wenn jemand ein Beispiel haben will, bitte nicht zögern zu schreiben ich kann dann ja mal eines hier posten (html source)
